Safe Six

Many years ago (around 1989) ‘SafeSix’ was the first cover band in which I chose nót to play the guitar and just have the roll of lead-vocalist & entertainer. Both of which went surprisingly well for a ‘beginner’. In the five years that this ‘six-piece-band’ performed the audiences steadily grew as did we.

We performed on all kinds of stages big and small in The Netherlands ánd abroad. This band gave me all the experience that I needed and was absolutely the springboard for the rest of my career as a singer in front of a band. The next and extremely successful – full blown Party-band – that I started would also carry my name: Harrie’s Herrie.
